Privacy

We count visits to these pages so we know which recipes people open. No ads, no cookies, no tracking script.

We see the page, where you came from, your browser and your country. Not your IP address: we turn it and your browser into a code that changes every day, so today's visit can't be linked to tomorrow's. It goes to PostHog in the EU and is deleted after a year.

Counting is on.

Turning it off saves one cookie, ph_off. If your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track, it's already off.

If you have an account

We keep your first name, your email (Adults) or username (Children), your Household's name, and the Recipes and photos you add. Accounts are run by Clerk, your Recipes are stored with Convex and Cloudflare, and how the app is used (with typing hidden) goes to PostHog in the EU. Recipe photos you snap for Import are read by Claude (Anthropic) to type them up.

Children get an account only when an Adult in their Household adds them. Public Recipes can be found by anyone, including search engines, and show the author's first name only.

An Adult can remove anyone in their Household from the app. To delete your whole Household, email us.
